You Never Know Who We all Know

This month we stray a bit from our usual format to share a good news story.

Our office received a call from a client who was frustrated with his local bank and wanted to know if we had a mortgage contact that could facilitate a mortgage in a short period for his daughter. Our office was able to put our client’s daughter in touch with Kurt Schlange who is a mortgage broker with Dominion Lending.

Kurt was not able to put together a new mortgage in such a short time period but he knew the manager at the local bank where the mortgage had gone wrong. Having 25 years experience as a former bank manager, Schlange was able to understand the requirements of the bank to close the mortgage and the needs of the client to put a mortgage in place immediately to allow them to save thousands of dollars in fees.
